1. Building Trust: Trust is very important in a relationship. It is very true that to keep a healthy relationship trust is very needed. How do you build trust ; Trust is something you build over time and it takes communication. Communication is very important in building a relationship. Be open and willing to share things about your self with each other, sharing your dreams, passions, desires, fears and your past experiences. Another thing is you also have to be a good listener to your partner. A relationship is a back and forth, there should always be a balance between both of you. Nowadays communication has been made easy with recent technology. Trust takes time and once you build it it’s everything.
2. Don’t Let A Person Define You: You cannot depend on other persons for your happiness. Sometimes it is important to take a step back, always have time for yourself. Most persons get into a new relationship and they cut off friends and family, all of a sudden they forget about themselves and focus only on their partner. Build your happiness. You have to be with someone that makes you feel whole. He should be your happiness enhancer. You should be happy with yourself so that when you are with him you become happier.
3. You have to Be Yourself Around Him: You have to be real, be your self around him, don’t be that person that puts on a front when you around him/her. Because in a short while you will be exposed. Most importantly you have to be with someone that brings out the best in you.
4. Never Compare your Relationship to Others. It’s has become so easy for spouse to competitors. With the recent relationship trends on social media. We want to have it all. You see a picture of someone who got a gift online, another picture of someone on vacation and you are like. I want that, you tell your partner why can’t we be like that. Instead of comparing you should look for ways to improve your relationship and stop competing with others.
5. Fight for Each Other: You should both invest in the relationship equally. Note; Don’t force yourself on any one, if he/she doesn’t want you let it be. If it were met to be things will eventually work out. Always work out your issues amicably with respect, communication is the key to everything.
6. Always Forgive and Forget: Every relationship experiences random arguments and quarrels. Things might sometimes become tensed between the both of you. You have to learn how to work out every issue as they come, talk it out and forgive. Holding it back gives room for anger, hate, sadness trust me accumulated unresolved issues in time, that could end a relationship. When you forgive everything becomes better in time, because time heals all things. In turn allows peace and happiness in the relationship.

7.Do things to make your partner feel special: Try to think of something you can do to show your partner that you care. This can be as little as saying “I love you.” Or, “I love talking to you.” or even, “You make me happy.” Those little things will make them feel good. Other things you can do… send a small gift, take an interesting their interests. For example, maybe you saw an article online that you think they would enjoy reading. Send it to them!
